The boxes are curated around specific themes within the Star Wars universe and a lot of the goodies are exclusive to that box. Not to be repeated.
The value for money here is excellent. Although Smuggler’s box values the contents at about twice what you pay, the reality is that some of the Funkos are going to sell on the collectible market for more than you paid for the entire box. So enjoy them for a while and sell them to hardcore collectors at a profit. Which makes all the other swag essentially free!
Of course, you always take the chance that a given box won’t have anything you want in it, but at the same time it’s like buying yourself an Xmas present. Where you don’t know what you’re getting! That surprise is by itself worth the ticket price! After all, psychologists say people enjoy the anticipation of something more than the actual thing itself.
