Some kinds of jewelry, such as brooches, are effectively two-dimensional. Others, like dangling earrings, may look attractive from multiple angles. There is another level to this, though: the dimension of time, meaning movement.
While this is an interesting concept we’d like to see more of, this particular Bollepo bracelet is definitely aimed more at kids. It may still be fun for older people to wear at some kinds of parties, especially when dancing. But as it can slither right off your arm if you don’t pay attention, it’s really not the most practical fashion accessory.
What it is, though, is highly entertaining. You can transfer it to a friend’s arm just by holding hands, while its movement is a fascinating thing to watch. It even feels nice on your skin when in motion, making it more conducive to relieving stress and boredom than those silly fidget spinners.
Here’s a demonstration what you can do with it (the video is for another brand, but it’s the same type of toy):
It’s available in several metallic color options and folds flat for storage. The rings of which it is made may seem rather large for the intended users of three years and up, but the bracelet actually conforms to any size arm when it opens like a mechanical flower. It’s certainly an icebreaker and conversation starter even if you happen to be an adult. Being made of stainless steel, it is much less fragile than it looks.
Considering this product’s quality, visual appeal, and affordable price, and the company’s reputation for customer service, we definitely prefer it over similar products. Unfortunately, one feature does not seem to work as advertised: it is supposed to glow by itself after being left in direct sunlight for some time, but this effect is hardly noticeable.
