Even if you don’t think of yourself as the DIY type, keeping a basic toolkit under the sink can solve a huge number of problems. If you’re into superhero movies, however, you’ll probably want to display this toolbox on a shelf: though it’s only 15 inches (40 cm) long, it’s undoubtedly Thor’s hammer from the Avenger movies.
It also weighs under six pounds and is therefore easy to lift and transport, no matter your superhero credentials. (You may want to keep it out of the hands of young children, though: someone will inevitably decide that his sibling is a minion of Thanos).
Despite the light weight, it contains all the tools the average household is likely to need, including a bottle opener shaped like Mjolnir.
Of course, the main draw of this product is the gimmick factor: the included tools are serviceable but will by no means impress an experienced electrician or carpenter. Nevertheless, the concept is likely to appeal a great deal to children who want to express their creativity by tinkering around a little.
The container, too, isn’t top of the line. It’s made from silver-colored plastic, a little difficult to open and even more difficult to close unless you place everything exactly where it’s supposed to go.
In other words, someone looking specifically for a toolkit will find better, while there are plenty of Mjolnir replicas at a lower price (even a water bottle).
If the creativity that went into this product is important to you and you find yourself occasionally needing a screwdriver, though, you will not be disappointed.
