A large number of people can claim to be real connoisseurs of bathing, even if they don’t have time for a leisurely soak every night. Some of them may have a particular brand of soap they’re not willing to do without, others may enjoy reading and listening to their favorite music in the bath, a few may believe that aromatherapy is the best way to relax.
None of them, however, enjoy a bath that’s too small to spread out in or too shallow to immerse more than a tiny portion of a human body.
Often, just an inch or three of extra water can make all the difference between comfort and frustration. This little device neatly solves the problem by covering the overflow hole – the one that prevents your bathroom from flooding, but which you are hopefully too responsible to need.
Raises the Overflow Drain
This is, however, not a stopper you insert into the opening, but rather a 4-inch-wide bubble that attaches to the bath wall using suction cups. It doesn’t block the overflow drain completely thanks to a small hole you’re supposed to position at the top.
Leaving the water running while talking on the phone or making tea probably still isn’t a good idea, but at least shouldn’t result in disaster.
Convenient and Durable
The SlipX drains are available in several colors and can be cleaned in the dishwasher if needed.
Keep in mind that this is still just a piece of cheap vinyl plastic and needs to be attached with a little care, but it does seem to tolerate heat, hard water, bath salts, and oils without losing the elasticity needed for its suckers to function.
